OK, folks--I've vented (after grading exams this semester)

See here and here. Now it's time for you to weigh in.

Have a great summer! (Or, if you're studying for the bar, have an adequate and productive summer!)

Student budget cut rally info

I hope that this e-mail finds you welI and as we continue to become aware of new and developing Budget Cut updates, it has become increasingly apparent to me as well as others that the students must maintain a strong activist presence. The success of the January 22nd Budget Cut Rally can be owed to the great collaboration and assistance that we continue to have from the campus community.

In light of this recent success, the student governments of UNLV, CSN and Nevada State College have been coordinating a follow-up event to the January rally and we hope that this rally will be just as prominent as the first. The event information is the following:

"Save Nevada Education" Budget Cut Rally- Part II
Location: UNLV Academic Mall (In Front of the BEH)
Date: Thursday, March 26th
Time: 6:00PM-7:30PM
(Community members have been included, student speakers are being contacted.)

I respectfully ask as to if it may be possible for this information to be distributed to the various courses that are offered this semester. Along with that, I have also attached the event advertisement if there is interest in distributing this information through e-mail as well. (see below)

Thank you very much for having taken the time to read this message and any and all assistance that can be provided is greatly appreciated. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any concerns or suggestions that you may have regarding this matter. I am confident that through continued collaboration, we will have a more informed and engaged student body.

Sincere Regards,

Adam Cronis
